Purpose of this document: This information has been prepared to explain, step by step and clearly, the support system we provide to our patients after treatment. Our aim is to show clearly that the patient is not left alone after the treatment is completed.
At Safari Health, we do not see the treatment process as consisting only of the procedures performed in the clinic. For us, treatment encompasses the entire chain of planning, application, follow-up, monitoring, and, when necessary, renewed support. For this reason, our aftercare service is a comprehensive support system established to address needs that may arise after treatment.
When our patient experiences a problem after treatment, they are not "someone trying to solve it on their own." The Safari Health team monitors the process, directs it, and organizes the necessary steps.
After treatment, in some cases the first need is to clarify the current situation before a detailed examination. At this point, our X-ray service at 16 different locations throughout the UK enables the process to proceed much faster and in a more controlled manner.
Because every situation experienced after treatment is not the same. Sometimes the patient experiences mild sensitivity, which is a normal part of the healing process. Sometimes additional monitoring is required. Thanks to X-ray support, assessments are made based on actual imaging rather than guesswork.
When the patient experiences pain, sensitivity, fit problems, discomfort with the temporary prosthesis, an imbalance noticed while chewing, or a similar situation after treatment, the first thing they should do is contact us.
Our team first collects the information sent by the patient and assesses the urgency level of the situation. At this stage, not every situation is handled the same way. The nature of the problem is understood first.
If imaging is deemed necessary, an X-ray is organized for the patient at one of the appropriate locations in the UK. In this way, the patient can move on to the initial examination stage without prolonging the process.
In many cases, the problem experienced does not require major intervention. Minor fit issues, mild sensitivities, explanations dependent on monitoring, and some temporary situations can be managed more simply.
In rarer situations that require more comprehensive examination, the process is evaluated at a higher level. The aim here is not to keep the patient waiting, but to make the most accurate decision in the safest way.
Not every complaint means a major complication. Some symptoms may be a natural part of the healing process. Therefore, establishing early communication is the most correct step.
A strong aftercare system is very important; however, the patient must also pay attention to basic recommendations for a healthy recovery.
Many situations are much more easily managed in the early stages. When a minor discomfort is reported on time, it can usually be brought under control before it grows.
Because the patient's trust is not formed only on the day of treatment. True trust is formed when the patient feels that there is an organized team behind them even after returning to their country. Our approach is not to perform the treatment and close the process, but also to provide a support structure that will protect the outcome of the treatment.

As Safari Health, our goal is for the patient to feel safe both at the start of treatment and after treatment. Thanks to our 16-location X-ray support in the UK and our planned aftercare approach, the process proceeds in a more controlled, more transparent, and safer way.
You are not alone after your treatment is completed either. When needed, your evaluation, referral, follow-up, and support process is organized by Safari Health.
